Message from the HOA:

Dear Horizon Townhouse Residents,
This is an important update that Guam will be transitioning to Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 at 5:00 PM today.
In preparation for the approaching storm, the Association kindly urges all residents to take the following precautions immediately:
- Secure Your Property: Please remove all loose items from patios, balconies, and common areas to prevent potential hazards or damage.
- Close All Shutters: Landlords are asked to please coordinate with your tenants to ensure all storm shutters are properly secured.
- Stay Informed: Continue to monitor official local news and weather updates for any changes in storm conditions or safety guidance
Immediate Actions Required To ensure the safety of all residents and property, please take the following steps as soon as possible:
- Secure Your Unit & Surroundings - Remove or secure all loose outdoor items (plants, furniture, decorations, trash bins) - Take down any temporary structures (tents, canopies, tarps) - Ensure windows and doors are properly secure
- Prepare Emergency Supplies (7–10 Days Recommended) - Drinking water and non-perishable food - Medications and first aid supplies - Flashlights, batteries, and/or emergency radio - Hygiene and sanitation supplies - Pet food and supplies (if applicable)
- Protect Important Items - Store important documents in waterproof containers - Move valuables away from windows or flood-prone areas
- Vehicle & Power Preparedness - Fuel your vehicles - Prepare for possible power outages (charge devices, have backup lighting) - Withdraw cash if needed
- Safety Reminders
- Avoid driving through flooded roads even 6 inches (15 cm) of water can cause loss of control
- Stay indoors once conditions worsen - Monitor official updates from local authorities

- Please ensure all common areas remain clear of debris
- Residents are encouraged to report any drainage issues immediately
- Additional updates will be provided as conditions evolve

Should you experience any storm-related damages, please:
- Take clear photos
- Submit them to management as soon as safely possible This will assist in documentation and any potential insurance-related processes.
